When connecting Remedy User to a server using a specified AR TCP Port, query menus fail with: ARERR [90] Cannot establish a network connection to the AR System server : test.Remedy.COM : RPC: Program not registered.

Query menus will only work when the server name in the error message can be resolved to the correct AR TCP Port. This lookup is done using the servers listed in the Tools >> Accounts, Advanced Server Properties on Windows and the /etc/ar file for Unix. For example the error message:

ARERR [90] Cannot establish a network connection to the AR System server : test.Remedy.COM : RPC: Program not registered.

When connecting using the short server name of "test" an AR TCP Port is specified which allows Remedy User to connect, load forms and search successfully. Any workflow such as a query menu, active link set fields, active link push fields will fail because the server name in the workflow cannot be resolved to use the correct AR TCP Port. i.e. test.Remedy.COM.

If the server name in the error message is used to connect to the server, and the correct AR TCP Port is specified, query menus or other workflow will now work.
